Planting Roots Birth Services offers Holistic prenatal and birth doula services in Clarksville Tennessee, Nashville Tennessee, & Fort Campbell Kentucky.

We specialize in home births & strive to help create a calm, home like birthing space to our clients. This can be through dimming lights, hanging string lights or birth affirmations, or playing calming music.

During two prenatal appointments we will get to know one another. We will listen to your birthing desires and build techniques that are catered to your family’s needs to completely support you physically and emotionally during labor. We will have a one on one prenatal that will cover pain management techniques, and ways that your birth partner can best support you.

We will work through any fears that you may have about birth, and shift your mindset towards positive birthing goals. In addition, I can assist you in creating a birth plan (either PDF file or paper copy) that you will present to your medical team during prenatal meetings & before delivery.

As your doula, we will provide you with continuous phone, email, and text support during your pregnancy to answer all of your questions and ease your fears. We will provide you with resources to help you make informed decisions and prepare for the child bearing year.

Soon after labor starts your doula, myself or a team member, join you at your home or at your birthing place of choice, and will provide continuous labor support until your baby is born. Throughout your labor and two hours after delivery, your doula will be by your side, providing support that is catered to your needs. We will coach you through breathing techniques, suggest position changes, use relaxation techniques such as massage, use of a rebozo, or visualization. We provide support to your spouse, and encourage them along while supporting you. We do not replace your spouse’s role, but rather complement it, and together we make a strong birth team to provide support to you.

After delivery we can assist you in establishing a good latch, and jumpstart your breastfeeding journey.

What is the investment?

Book services with one of our doulas for

$1,600 with a retainer fee of $350.00.

The remainder can be paid on through out pregnancy in payments until 36 weeks gestation.

There is a travel fee for services beyond 30 miles.

Birth Photography & Birth Support packages with Destiniy can be combined for $2,000. Birth Photography examples can be viewed under the birth photography tab.

Creating birth plan allows you to know all of the options that are available to you, as well as knowing your rights as a birthing mother. If you do not know what your options are, you truly do not have any at all.
